Workshops developed after LTTA1 in Croatia

Students workshops

On March 24th, 6th grade students at Guernica Primary School participated in local workshops.

The students who participated in LTTA1 in Croatia (Aimar, Ricardo, Darío, Alejandro, Ainara, Aldara, and Ariadna) presented some of the workshops they had completed there to their classmates (a total of 53 students).

They began the session with a presentation of the activities carried out in Croatia and the experience lived there during the week.

They were then divided into three groups, each of which held the following workshops simultaneously in three different locations:

  • Video making with Pictory AI (Aitana, Darío, and Aimar),

  • The "AI saves the day" workshop (Aldara and Ricardo)

  • Magic School tools (Alejandro and Ariadna).

Approximately every 45 minutes, the students changed workshops until everyone had completed all the workshops.

The experience for the presenting students was exciting, as it was the first time they had done something like this. But, although they prepared well, not everything was so exciting: They encountered certain difficulties, such as tablets that wouldn't open apps, very talkative students who didn't pay much attention, insecurity in explanations, stage fright...

Even so, they managed to find a way to carry out the planned activities.

It was an amazing experience for all of them!!!

Teachers workshops

On March 24th, 24 teachers from Guernica Primary School attended workshops prepared by the Erasmus Coordinator and the teachers who participated in the LTTA1 program in Croatia.

They were divided into two groups: primary school teachers and preschool teachers. The primary school teachers explored different tools in the Magicschool AI app and conducted the "Spot the Imposter" workshop using different chatbots (Gemini, Copilot, chatGPT).

The preschool teachers used different AI apps to make music (Sunno) and edit images to create a story (Canva AI)

It was a very interesting day, and many of the teachers were interacting with AI applications for the first time, which they found truly impactful.
